I worked on a landscape for a change of pace.  I always love country road images and the big, puffy clouds in the sky were really attractive.  The fence posts were irregular and made long shadows on the road along with the tall grasses.  The colors felt refreshing!

This painting was an attempt to catch the glow of a cluster of grapes lit brightly by the sun.  The cut-glass bowl was an added element that really helped the composition I think.  I loved the red and yellow shades of these purple grapes.
