Jess was a rescued Border Collie who was both beautiful and sweet.  The painting was commissioned by a wonderful client in New Brunswick, Canada.

Moe was a lovely Cocker Spaniel commission.  I loved his soulful eyes and regal bearing.  His tail also reminded me very much of my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's tail.  It was always flowing in the breeze behind him.

This Doxy portrait of Picasso was finished after the portrait of his daughter, Freckles, which I posted earlier.  The two are great friends as will be seen in the final portrait of them together.

I recently painted some Dachshund portraits as commissions.  This is the first one, Freckles, who is a double dapple Dachshund and has lots of spots!  She's a cutie.

A beautiful Border Collie enjoying the ocean water was another fun commission piece.  Allie was exploring the the coastline of the Cape of Briten in Nova Scotia.  This was the first time I painted a wet Collie and it was interesting.
