Little Snoopy

Oil Painting Still Life Art Christmas Vintage Toy

Oil on archival canvas panel, 6" x 8".  SOLD

This cool "Little Snoopy" toy was found at a estate sale and the painting that resulted was purchased by someone who cherished this toy as a small child. Little Snoopy makes such an interesting and LOUD noise when pulled that my dogs go crazy to get at it. I have to keep it out of their reach or they will surely tear or chew it to pieces. I remember it from the 1960's. Its body, the tip of its tail, and the shoe that it carries are made of wood. Very cool! This would have been a great Christmas toy back then.
Thanks for looking.

Beautiful painting, Debra. I had the same toy as a child in the shape of a cricket, springs as the antennae :-)
