A friend of mine has a robin's nest in a pot hanging on a wall outside of her kitchen window. Both the male and female were taking turns sitting on their eggs on the rainy day when I was visiting. It was serious business! I really liked the expression of this parent. Three blue eggs were inside, so there may be another painting from this visit.
