Red Currants Watercolor Still Life Flower Fruit Berries Cherry Grapes
Watercolor on Arches, 12" x 9".
Clusters of cherry red currants growing on the vine painted in transparent watercolors is my painting for today. I've been going back and forth between watercolors and oils and I don't know what that means except that it's been interesting. I love the qualities of both I guess. "Hidden passages" can be made in watercolors and that's a fun and mysterious thing.
This was a reposting of a painting from last winter. I've been busy with new florals coming soon and also some commissions. If you'd like a commissioned painting contact me. Thanks for visiting!
