Chicks in Twig Basket Easter Oil Painting Chickens Art Farm Animals
Oil on Raymar panel, 6" x 8".
Baby chicks seem to glow in the sun if the lighting is just right and in this scene I wanted these three to come to life in the twiggy basket. I think children who grow up in the country are so lucky! Actually you don't have to be a kid to love this kind of spring fun. I didn't grow up with these critters but I can paint them and enjoy them!

Debra, I love your chick painting. Wonderful brushwork, and the chicks are glowing. I am also enjoying painting spring critters. :)
The basket is perfect and the little guys look so fuzzy and cute. Perfect.
So nice to hear from you both, Carol and Barbara! Happy spring painting.
