"Animated, adaptable and agile, the Australian Shepherd lives for his job, which still involves herding livestock and working as an all-purpose farm and ranch dog. He needs a lot of activity and a sense of purpose to be truly content". That's a short description of the Aussie - a very lovely dog in my opinion! What fun it was to paint the colors and features of this particular Australian Shepherd that I photographed last fall at a local festival.

Good work. The personality come through. I did a doggie painting recently so I am noticing other paintings of dogs.
