This is a portrait of a long-stemmed rose that I painted for Valentine's Day. I loved painting the shapes of the deep red petals in the sunlight and the mixtures of soft greens which I devoloped in the background.
The painting is on gallery-wrap canvas and is ready to hang with or without a frame.

I just wanted to say I have seen many paintings of flowers and this one is in my top five, you've got a real talent don't let it go to waste.
