Black Pug Oil Painting Dog Pet Art Portrait

"Pug Chin-Up"

Oil on board, 11" x 14".
This painting was included in the annual competition, Art Show at the Dog Show, in Wichita, Kansas this year. Maddie's expressive face is sometimes fascinating and always honest. She was using my old piano bench as a chin rest to bathe in the sunlight. I adopted Maddie as a frightened three-year-old rescue Pug. She is now my smart and loving darling. If you'd like to commission a painting please contact me.

Debra, such a beautiful portrait of your baby girl. Thank you for adopting - I am a pug painter and volunteer for pug rescue down here in Dallas. Such a pleasure to see your work and know this lovely girl, Maddie, found the perfect home!
