Goldfinch Bird Dogwood 5x7 Oil Daily Painting

"Goldfinch in Pink Dogwood"

5" x 7" x 3/4" Oil on gallery-wrapped canvas. Sides are painted. The painting can be hanged as is or framed if desired.

Spring is coming and the Dogwoods will bloom again. We attract both the American Goldfinch and the Lesser Goldfinch at our bird feeders. These birds delight me in many ways. Their loud, sweet and kooky sounding voices make me grin. Their delicate bodies are so lovely. It's fun to watch them cling to things like sunflower heads and thistle sacks to munch on seeds. Thanks for stopping by!

Debra,

Now that I have two of your oil paintings, I would like you to do this for me. I buy alot from other artist. This by far is one of the most outstanding birds I have seen on Daily Painters. You blended your colors and captured the essence of a bird and Dogwood tree. This is one of my favorite pieces, and cannot wait to see it in person.
