After reading Burt Silverman's book, "Breaking the Rules of Watercolor", I painted several watercolors using his method of painting on bristol board's smooth surface. It really produces quite a different effect than painting on watercolor paper.
In an attempt to keep up with the Daily Painter's group challenge of featuring 2000 paintings in thirty days, I plan to post more artwork than usual which will include a more varied approach to my subject matter. (This is partially due to the fact that I can easily be sidetracked)!
